Co-organized by SKYmedia Corporation LLC and National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Mongolia, the season 6 finale of an American series Game of Thrones will be screened with a live orchestra in Mongolian dub on March 19 at the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Mongolia. The organizers of the “Movie with live orchestra” event has selected the most adventurous and heartfelt episode of the HBO’s well-renowned series as its first rendition. “Up until now, the theater only staged concerts. The mixture of orchestra and film allows the audience to enjoy their favorite film with live performance. Not only is it new in Mongolia, this is the first time the series will be played with a live orchestra. We have paid special attention on the composition since it has never been performed before,” highlighted the Conductor and Pianist Anar Bayarkhuu. SKYmedia Corporation LLC informed that the event will be available on the SKYmedia movie box, as well as the entire series. Furthermore, the HBO network has mentioned that the event is the first of its kind. The organizers noted that official representatives of the HBO will be invited to the event and share their experiences. Originated from George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series of fantasy novels, the Game of Thrones has attracted record viewership on HBO and has a broad, active, international fan base. The series has received 38 Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series in 2015 and 2016, more than any other primetime scripted television series.
